Cover bands

I'll be upfront: I don't hate cover songs.

I hate cover songs that sound just like the original.

I went to see a show tonight in support of some friends I haven't seen in a while, and unfortunately for me, they were the last to go on... so I had to sit through a bunch of cover songs before them. And the selections??? MAJOR LABEL BANDS I CAN NOT STAND.

And one more thing: SOMEBODY KILL THE FAUX HAWK ALREADY. If you ain't got the balls to do a real mohawk, don't do that to your hair. It's kind of like buying jeans that were already ripped. (I admit--I've bought a pair of jeans that were already ripped.... but I added more rips to it with my pencil during Lit class)
