I'm quite grateful to live in a big metro city, within its personal suburbia, and close enough to the Pacific Ocean to hear its natural sounds at the moon hours. I live across a building that faces the ocean, and the sounds of the ocean are hitting it, and reflecting back towards our home.
I know we won't be here forever. But while we're here, and while there hasn't been any earthquakes or tsunamis, I'm enjoying every day.
